Watching a lot of films i’ve seen and not like or have not scene and have no interest in seeing in key skills this year.
Thing is, I’ll have to watch them again because this term I didn’t bother going to a screening of one I’d scene and then of course that came up in the exam.
Week 1 is a selection of early cinema so mmmm
Then we have M, which I’ve scene and hated, which obv makes me a bad film student and person
I’ve not scene The Adventures of Robin Hood, which might be ok actually, I haven’t seen Errol Flynn in anything before so it’ll at least be interesting for that.
All that Heaven Allows- I think is silly; it’s lovely looking, and Rock Hudson is gorgeous but the woman is so silly, and she never deserves him so I can’t route for them, thus the interest has gone.
The Seventh Seal I loved, so that is exempt. It’ll be nice to see it on a big screen as well.
Bladerunner - Haven’t seen but it’s quite a glaring gap in my viewing so at least I’ll sort that out.
Hero- No Idea, I’m pretty poor on Asian cinema.
Cloverfield- Have on DVD so at least I don’t need to go in. But I might, just so I can tell everyone I’ve been on the Coney Island wonder wheel!
Avatar- I actually have the DVD out from the library atm purely to see what all the fuss is about.
So I’ve seen basically half. Great.
Still, it’s nice to know.
