Finished it, and I must say I’m relieved. It was a great book, it had some very interesting things to say; it was one of those books that when you stop reading it you blink and go, ‘Ooh I’m not in the wilds of Alaska I’m in bed.Phew.’ But it’s massively depressing, the most uplifting it gets ( kind of spoiler coming up), is when it says some people who die of starvation experience a sense of euphoria before they expire.
Great.
Anyway, I’m glad I read it but for my next book, something lighter I think’
